Károly Takács Real Life Inspirational Story:

This is the story of a Hungarian army soldier of 1938 named Karoly Takacs.
He was a great pistol shooting player and his dream was to win the gold medal in the Olympics in Pistol Shooting. Seeing his hard work, dedication and record, it was felt that this time he will win the Gold Medal in the 1940 Olympics.

The reason for this was that he was the best Pistol Shooter of that Hungarian country (Hungary) and he had won all the national championships in that Country. He only had a dream as much as a gold medal in the Olympics and he was only a short distance away from that dream, because two years later in the 1940s there was the Olympics.

But his dream suddenly receded, he was practicing in an army camp and an accident took place at that time. A hand grenade exploded in his right hand and Karoly's hand burned so badly that now he could not do anything with that hand, his hand became completely useless, in this accident Karoly's best hand 'The Right Hand' was totally damaged.

It means that now his dream was finished. What he had a dream of, that gone way in  mud overnight, if there were any of us at this place, he would cry on his luck, and would give up but this excuse is for the common people and not for Karoly.

He did not give up in front of such a joke of such a big accident and nature. As much as he had a gold medal at the Olympics, his goal was very clear, his morale was as strong as iron. He did not give up and stood up and he decided that no matter what happened in this accident to my right hand , nom matter, I still have left hand, he decided that he is now on his left hand  will make it  the world's best hand (Pistol Shooting Hand).

After spending a month in the hospital, as soon as he was discharged from the hospital, he was again in his aim, yes he again started practicing pistol shooting with his left hand. He suffered a lot of pain in the beginning but Karoly still did not give up.

Karoly practiced intensely for one year and a year later in 1939 he came back to participate in the National Championship in Hungary, till then nobody knew that Karoly was practicing with his left hand, everybody thought that he has given up and he will not participate in any competition anymore. . So as other contestants saw Karoly, everyone got shocked and then they felt that Karoly has come here to encourage us, then everyone started thanking him, but everyone was shocked when Karoly said that he was not here to encourage them. No, I have come to fight you, I have come to fight you guys.

There was Karoly's fight against those who were aiming with his best hand and Karoly was marking with his left hand, despite this he won the Hungarian National Championship  and he was very much praised. How could this happen? There was just this discussion all around and Karoly had become a hero overnight.

But Karoly did not stop there, he had only one dream since childhood, Goal, he had to become the world's best shooter. So he now started practicing for the Olympics in 1940 and everyone started feeling that yes this time he will win the gold medal in the Olympics and he was moving very well. But perhaps it was not acceptable to Luck. Luck again changed everything and the 1940 Olympics were canceled due to the World War.

His dream was now getting blurred again and everyone felt that it was all over but Karoly was not giving up. He said that no matter he will win the gold medal in the upcoming Olympics 1944 and he continued his hard work.

But luck was also being tested again and again, the Olympics were again canceled in 1944 due to the World War. Now everyone thought that Karoly's dream would remain a dream and he would never make it  a reality.

But no one knew that Karoly was not one of those who never gave up, he only wanted to win, he was a real fighter, a true winner. Again he Started preparing for the Olympics 1948 and this time finally Olympics happened. At that time Karoly had turned 38 years old and her competitors were very young. Everybody was competing with his best hand and Karoly with his left hand, yet Karoly faced them. And he won a gold medal in pistol shooting. Yes, he did it, yes he made the impossible possible and today his dream became reality.

The whole world was shaken as to how this could happen, but it was possible only by one person's unconvincing attitude and Karoly did not stop there only. He again participated in the 1952 Olympics and won the gold medal again.

Karoly's life gives us the teachings that if there is life in dreams, if there is confidence in dreams, then doesn't matter even in adverse circumstances, you should never give up. No matter how many difficulties come in the way, no matter how many  failures are faced, but we should not give up or bow down and not be tired and keep trying continuously with positive thinking and this is the spirit we need for success and to become a world champion.
